Mr. Soh Beng Teong ("Mr. Soh") is currently the Chief Operating Officer of ACE Money Exchange ("AMX"). Mr. Soh is responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing effective workflows for operational efficiency with adequate risk management, managing internal processes, operational guidelines and policies, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, external rules and regulations and regulatory requirements, and supervising and overseeing various departments including Business Operations, Marketing, HR & Admin. Mr. Soh also assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on AMX overall performance and participates in AMX Board/Committee meetings.

Mr. Soh is a finance professional with vast experience in various aspects of the financial industry, from capital market to banking operations. Prior to joining AMX, Mr. Soh has undergone training at Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd and worked at RHB Bank Bhd before moving to stockbroking industry joining Omega Securities Sdn Bhd. He then joined AMInvestment Bank Berhad, where he spent the next 20 years of his career. He worked in various positions and eventually rose to the position of Senior Vice President, Retail Broking. His main responsibilities included formulating and implementing business plans and strategies for Retail Broking, including recruitment of remisiers and branch expansion. Mr. Soh has also worked at PM Securities Sdn Bhd as Head of Retail Business before he was redesignated as Head of Operations.

Mr. Soh is an experienced finance professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance with Honours from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in December 1991. He graduated with a second-class upper degree and was on the Dean's List for all seven semesters of study. Major courses he took included Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Law. He passed the MFORR (Malaysian Futures & Options Registered Representative) examination jointly conducted by The Kuala Lumpur Options & Financial Futures Exchange Bhd and Malaysia Monetary Exchange Bhd on 2nd September 1995. In August 2011, he passed two licensing examinations, Module 06 and Module 07, conducted by Securities Industry Development Corporation.
