Max is currently the CEO cum Executive Director of ACE Money Exchange (“AMX”). He is responsible for the overall strategic and performance of AMX by developing business strategies, company development and growth plan. He holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Financial Management and Economics from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

Max has more than 30 years of experience in financial industry. In 1991, he started his career at Treasury Division of Public Bank Berhad. He was assigned to advice corporate clients for their foreign currency exposure, which covered multinational companies and other import/export companies.He was then promoted to Inter-Bank Desk to handle currency exposure for bank.

Thereafter, Max moved from Commercial Banking to Investment Banking which involves in share trading, private placement and pre-IPO corporate exercise etc. He was the Co-Head of Share Margin Financing Department of AmBank Behad.

In 2015, he was appointed as Executive Director of AmFutures Sdn Bhd which oversee the overall performance of the Bursa Malaysia Listed Derivatives products. He achieved a record of 600% growth in PAT from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Max joined Bursa Malaysia Derivatives as Head of Investor Development. He played a key role in developing China, Hong Kong and Singapore markets in Futures Crude Palm Oil Market. Notably, he has successfully organized the 1st BMD Palm Oil Symposium event in Shanghai, China in 2018.

Prior joining AMX, he attached to a local consortium company which managed three listed companies in Bursa Malaysia. He was mainly in charge of commercial matters including identifying, negotiating, acquiring of SME companies, with the objective to spin-off via IPO.
