Bribery & Corruption Statement
ACE Money Exchange Sdn Bhd (“AMX”) is concerned about its business activities and is committed to monitor them in order to avoid bribery and corruption risk. AMX takes a serious zero-tolerance stance on any form of bribery or corruption in all its dealings and business operations. AMX endeavours to be in full compliance with the laws and regulations in Malaysia, including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (“MACC Act 2009”) and any subsequent amendments and any future legislations and associated codes of practice.
This Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy (“ABC Policy”) sets out the responsibilities of AMX and those who work for AMX on the requirement to observe and uphold AMX’s zero-tolerance position on bribery and corruption. This ABC Policy applies to AMX and its associated persons which include the directors, employees, business associates, members of public (where relevant) and all parties involved directly or indirectly in the affairs of AMX.
AMX sets a strict expectation whereby no person (or party) undertaking business on behalf of, or acting for AMX, shall in any manner pays or receive a bribe for any reason (or consideration) whatsoever. Accordingly, AMX shall enforce strict disciplinary action on any employee found to have breached the ABC policy on anti-bribery and corruption which may include dismissal and any other action deemed appropriate. AMX does not condone any act of bribery and corruption, which are criminal acts in nature as well as indictable offences.
In promoting ethical business practices, AMX is committed to design and institute appropriate policies and procedures to support AMX’s business operations and assist its employees to understand their obligations in upholding corporate integrity and AMX’s reputation.
This ABC Policy will be reviewed from time to time and may be amended to incorporate the latest standards in anti-bribery and corruption.
